PRIVACY POLICY
PRIVACY
Tourpax Services is very sensitive to the privacy concerns
of the visitors to its site on the Internet. As a general policy, no
personal information is automatically collected from visitors to the site.
However, certain non-personal information of visitors is recorded by the
standard operation of Tourpax Services's Internet servers. This
information is primarily used to provide an enhanced online experience for
the visitor. Information tracked includes the type of operating system in
use (e.g., McIntosh, Windows) and the type of browser being used by the
visitor (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer).
Other uses of this information include internal review of the number of
visitors to the site but only in an aggregate and
non-personally-identifiable form. E-mail addresses and other personally
identifiable data about visitors to this site are known only when
voluntarily submitted.
Personally identifiable information that may be collected in connection
with visitors is retained by Tourpax Services and is not sold or otherwise
transferred outside the company. This information is collected to help us
better understand visitors' use of our site.
Some sites accessible through Tourpax Services's Web Site use pixels, or
transparent GIF files, to help manage online advertising. These GIF files
are provided by our ad management partner, Double-Click. These files
enable Double-Click to recognize a unique cookie on your Web browser,
which in turn enables us to learn which advertisements bring users to our
website. The cookie was placed by us, or by another advertiser who works
with Double-Click. With both cookies and Spotlight technology, the
information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally
identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or
email address. For more information about Double-Click, including
information about how to opt out of these technologies, go to
http://www.doubleclick.net/us/corporate/privacy.
To the extent that any of the sites accessible through Tourpax Services's
Web Site have different practices, these practices will be explained at
that site.
A SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS
Tourpax Services believes that parents should supervise their children's
online activities and consider using parental control tools available from
online services and software manufacturers that help provide a
kid-friendly online environment. These tools can also prevent children
from disclosing online their name, address, and other personal information
without parental permission. For additional information about parental
control tools, please consult the "Consumer Assistance" page of the Direct
Marketing Association home page ( http://www.the-dma.org).
